Aerospace engineer specializing in aerodynamic analysis, structural design, and precision fabrication. From first-principles simulations to flight-tested hardware.
I'm an Aerospace Engineering graduate from the University at Buffalo (Magna Cum Laude, 2025) with hands-on experience spanning the full engineering cycle — from computational analysis to fabricating components and validating them in the air.
For three years I led manufacturing and fabrication for UB's AIAA Design/Build/Fly team, building 8 unique aircraft prototypes and placing 12th internationally out of 112 teams in 2025 — up from 53rd when I first joined. I also served as Vice President of the 60+ member club, managing a ~$45,000 budget and coordinating team logistics.
My work spans aerodynamic CFD (ANSYS Fluent, XFLR5), structural FEA, MATLAB simulations, orbital mechanics, solid rocket motor fabrication, and CNC precision manufacturing.
Designed and manufactured a 7lb, 5ft wingspan UAV to study wingtip vs. mid-wing motor placement and its effect on induced drag. Peak airspeed of ~107 mph recorded via onboard SD card, post-processed in MATLAB.
Manufacturing and fabrication lead across 3 competition years. Built 8 aircraft prototypes using carbon fiber layups, CNC laser/hot-wire cutting, and 3D-printed molds. Placed 12th/112 internationally in 2025.
Designed a Short Takeoff and Landing business jet targeting 3,000 NM range with a 1,200 ft field length per FAR 25. MATLAB convergence scripts optimized a T-tail, over-wing engine configuration achieving ~1,035 ft takeoff distance.
MATLAB simulation iterating across 25 million geometry combinations to maximize payload ratio. Verified CG/CP locations using OpenRocket — matched within 1–2% of analytical outputs across seven mission cases.
CFD simulation in ANSYS Fluent at 236 m/s. Structural FEA across aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber — titanium showed 26% less deformation than aluminum; carbon fiber unsuitable under compressive loads.
Designed and simulated a complete GEO inspection mission for InSat-1 targeting the Yellowhammer satellite. Planned 12 propellant-constrained burns for LEO-to-GEO transfer, visualized in MATLAB RIC coordinates.
Mixed and cured custom HTPB-based propellant. Machined graphite nozzles to ±0.01mm tolerance on a precision lathe. Conducted static fire tests with load cell. Scaled variants flew at IREC competition.
Wind tunnel, flow visualization, and heat transfer experiments. Measured NACA 4412 pressure distributions, computed aerodynamic coefficients via MATLAB integration, and validated 1D fin theory with 93% efficiency.
Designed and fabricated a fully 3D-printed glider using Brass HTPLA and LW-PLA. Iterated on CG placement and epoxy coatings after early structural failures, achieving stable flight performance.
Assembled and modified the LOC Precision LOC IV rocket kit for Level 1 HPR certification. Remodeled nose cone for drag reduction, validated motor selection in OpenRocket, and integrated full recovery system.
Maintained and calibrated an in-house laser cutter, improving tolerances from 0.2mm to 0.04mm. Created a full safety and operations manual used to train new club members over three years.
I'm actively looking for entry-level opportunities in aerospace engineering — structures, aerodynamics, propulsion, or UAV systems. If you think there's a fit, I'd love to hear from you.
